VICKSBURG, Miss (WJTV) - Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs talked with future business leaders at St. Aloysius school. The forum gave students an opportunity to talk with city leaders and graduates from the school who are now business people in town.

VCS will kick off Catholic Schools Week on January 27, 2019! Sponsored by NCEA, CSW is an annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. VCS will host an Open House for prospective families from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, and from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30. The first-ever Mayor's Economic Development Update was established by Vicksburg Catholic School to help students learn the basic concept of economic development and recognize that Vicksburg is a viable location to work and live after graduation.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Vicksburg Catholic School will feature student musical performances, art, dance, and food on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at 9:15 a.m. in the St. Aloysius High School gymnasium! Countries represented will include Bolivia, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, and more.
