Dawn Meeks
Dawn Meeks received a B.S. in Biology from Mississippi State University and a MED from Mississippi College in Secondary Science Education. She serves as a teacher and science department head teaching Biology, AP Biology, and Anatomy and Physiology at St. Aloysius High School.
She has been honored with the following awards: 2013 Chamber of Commerce Secondary Teacher of the Year, 2013 St. Aloysius Teacher of the year, 2016 Presidential Scholar Teacher, Mississippi Economic Council STAR Teacher 8 times, and Joseph B. Whitehead (Coca-Cola Foundation) teacher scholar.
She believes every student has value and worth, can learn, and should be treated with dignity and respect.
