Three junior students - Andrew Brewer, Caden Pickle, and Tommy Martin - and one senior student, Andrew Ulmer, represented Vicksburg Catholic School. During the event, the team worked with a C Spire software developer on a series of puzzles using the Python programming language.
Over 100 high school students from schools across the state of Mississippi participated in the event. In addition to the competition, our students were able to meet and interact with Pepper, the world’s first social humanoid robot that can recognize faces and basic human emotions. They also experienced virtual reality with Lobaki, Inc.
